Sathya Jyothi Films Thyagarajan is known for making youthful romantic movies.His last release Jayam Kondan was a hit. Now the production house is back with another youthful entertainer Baana Kathadi, the launch film of actor Murali’s son Atharva.
The story of the film is on Ahmedbad’s famous Kite festival, and how a local Chennai boy against all odds takes part in the festival. The unit will shoot in Gujarat along with 3000 junior artists. The film is written and directed by Badri Venkatesh, and the cast has hero Adharva, leading lady Samantha, Karunas and Prasanna play important roles.The film will be shot in Chennai, Ahmedabad and Thailand. Thyagarajan has a winner in Baana Kathadi, as the story is said to be different and the director Badri Venkatesh is very promising. He has earlier won a National award for his documentary film Vidiyalai Nokki.
